Finding clarity around a major decision

“Within the first ten minutes of our session, something clicked and I had clarity about whether I wanted another child. I had been so stuck, and then I understood what the decision meant to me on a deeper level. I left feeling clear, relieved, and at peace with myself.”

Bring what’s happening

A difficult decision. A relationship that’s confusing or painful. Grief. Fertility. Sex. Birth. A transition. A conversation you’re dreading. A situation you keep replaying in your mind.

If something in your life needs thoughtful attention and support, we can start there.

With more than 20 years of experience as an alternative therapist, coach, doula, teacher, and somatic practitioner, I bring warmth, humor, straightforwardness, compassion, and a very human approach to our time together.

I listen closely, ask questions, reflect what I’m hearing, and offer an honest perspective. I may help you reframe the situation, notice what’s underneath the obvious issue, understand your part more clearly, or hear something in yourself that has been hard to access on your own.

Sometimes we strategize and make a plan. Sometimes we realize that what’s needed is more space, time, or permission not to decide yet. The goal is clarity, rather than forcing an answer before it’s there.

I’m not here to endlessly analyze you or simply tell you that everything you’re feeling is right. I’m here to help you feel seen and supported while also helping you see yourself and the situation more clearly.

Depending on what would be useful, I may draw from somatic work, hypnotherapy, breathwork, EFT, meditation, perinatal psychology, sexual healing work, and other therapeutic approaches I’ve studied over the years. I may also suggest outside resources, practitioners, or experiences that could support you beyond our session.

Sometimes what helps most is talking. Sometimes it’s a practical tool, a fresh perspective, a deeper emotional process, or a way to work with what’s happening in your body as well as your mind.

There’s no formula and no agenda to turn one session into a whole healing project.

We focus on what’s here, use what helps, and work toward the clarity, relief, insight, or support you came for.

Support through Grief

“I was grieving and needed somewhere to put everything I was feeling. Rachel gave me the kind of space I didn't know I needed. She was warm, grounded and completely present, without making me feel like I had to turn my grief into a problem to solve. I left feeling lighter, more understood, and much more able to be with what I was going through."

60 minutes on Zoom

Before we meet, you’ll answer a few questions so I understand what you want support with and what would make the session most useful.

After our session, you’re welcome to send up to two brief follow-up messages within seven days for clarification or integration related to what we discussed.

There’s no package and no long-term commitment. You can come once, come back as needed, or book another session if there’s more you want to explore.

Is this right for you?

These sessions are for people who are generally functioning in their lives and want support, perspective, clarity, or help working through something specific.

They are not a substitute for ongoing psychotherapy, psychiatric care, crisis support, or treatment for acute trauma.

If you need longer-term or more intensive support, I may recommend another practitioner or resource that’s a better fit.

Relationship insight and boundaries

“I was tangled up in a relationship situation and couldn’t tell whether I was overreacting, ignoring my own needs, or expecting too much. Rachel listened, asked questions that got straight to the heart of what was happening, and helped me see both my own part and what I had been minimizing. I left knowing what I needed to say, what I wasn’t willing to keep accepting, and how I wanted to move forward.”

You don’t have to keep going over it by yourself.

Sometimes one thoughtful conversation can help you see the situation differently, feel more supported, and know what you want to do next.
