After you watch the video, do this practice:
Take out a journal or talk outloud to yourself or a trusted neutral friend/therapist/coach.
Answer the following questions:
- What’s most important to me about birth besides having a healthy baby?
- What is my plan so far?
- Who is going to be with me during labor?
- How do I feel around that person or those people?
- Have I asked enough questions to my care providers about what their procedures are for birthing women who want what I want?
- Am I feeling relaxed, happy and safe with the plan I have?
- What do I need in order to feel safe and comfortable?
- What else can I do within myself to prepare to feel safe and comfortable in myself?

Feel confident, prepared and relaxed for laborWhat 'Yes to Birth' parents are saying
"I used all of Rachel’s breathing techniques during labor, embraced surges by saying "yes" and felt so empowered even when we had to transfer to the hospital. Rachel helped me to feel truly prepared...for both the uncertainty and the beauty of birth."
EJ D.
"My husband and I grew closer and more aligned during and after the class. The exercises she has you practice and the information she shares should be something every expecting couple goes through."
Megan K.
